There are a few Dr. Strange costumes on Amazon and this is probably the best you will find in this price range. It is more authentic than most of the costumes and if you prepare it properly, you will be admired by many for the appearance of the costume. However, it has some issues that need to be addressed in order for it to be better. Here are some pros and cons:1. The cloak is fairly authentic, but the pattern inside the cloak is odd and I am not sure why they used it.2. The body part of the costume is easy to put on and looks great. However, it does not have the difference in the blue tone that is shown in the add. Most of the body is a similar blue pattern.3. You need to pin a lot of it, especially the cloth wrap that goes around the wrists and the cloak. Both need to be pinned to keep them in place.4. There are no straps for the boots!! They are shown in the picture and were not included with the costume. I was very disappointed in that.5. The Eye of Agamotto that comes with the costume is not worth it. You will want to purchase a separate Eye of Agamotto to add to the costume.6. There is no sling ring included. You will need to purchase a new one.7. The belts in the midsection are quite authentic and better than what I observed in other models. When I wore the costume, I received quite a few compliments and people told me that they thought I was truly Dr. Strange. Most of it is from the costume, but I had to do quite a bit to emphasize it. I think that for the price, more could have been done, especially the boot straps, but I am not completely disappointed.The colors on the Cape were really bright compared to the advertisement and the Cape was also really heavy but I’m sure that’s fine and the gold wings that kept the cape on in the movie are not metal which are probably expected.I like the costumeThe colors of the actual costume are not as bright and contrasting as shown in the advertisement. I expected the bindings on the arm ribbons to be colorful but they came with just black. The belt is not as tall as the one shown in the advertisement nor long enough to try to wrap around my waist twice to achieve the built-up look.
